My path from teaching to UX shaped how I approach design thinking - not just what users do, but understand why they do it. I break down complexity into workflows people can actually follow, in environments where design choices impact thousands of users.

At the NZ Ministry of Education, I worked across internal teams and external vendors, policy teams, and government stakeholders - while gathering evidence from diverse external user groups through surveys and workshops. That environment reinforced that good design in complex organizations is as much about communication and alignment as it is about craft.

Outside of work, you'll find me with my girls 👧 sharing fun topics while walking our dogs 🐕 and enjoying outside nature.
